About Us

We are academic criminologists and scholars who respect science and the scientific process.  We also believe in the core principles of classical liberalism and academic freedom: Freedom of expression and open inquiry; freedom to pursue the truth; freedom of conscience and true intellectual diversity.

We have grown increasingly convinced that our great universities--once protectors of our most cherished classical principles--have embraced a form of political progressivism that simultaneously thwarts intellectual freedom, the pursuit of truth, and respect for constitutional government.

Similarly, the new hegemeny has corrupted many academic disciplines, especially  in the humanities and the social sciences.  Respect for truth, freedom of inquiry, and the right to dissent have been supplanted by a dogmatic allegiance to progressive ideology.

Liberal, libertarian, or conservative, we invite you to join us.  Faculty, staff, student, legislator, or concerned citizen, we invite you to join us.  Secular or religious, we invite you to join us.

If you believe our institutions of higher eduction should:
  • represent the best of our values, including protections for free speech and open inquiry
  • serve as platforms for the creation and dissemination of knowledge and not as platforms for political indoctrination
  • represent ALL students equally and without prejudice
  • be responsible and accountable for how they spend student tuition and tax-payer funds

Two roads diverged in a wood and I -
I took the one less traveled by,
and that has made all the difference.
