WHY A CONSERVATIVE CRIMINOLOGY?
Picture
It's simple:  We can accurately predict a scholar's support for certain policies and certain theories simply by knowing his political allegiance and in the social sciences, virtually every professor is liberal.

The dominance of a single world view has  politicized many disciplines and in return has biased research and teaching.  Liberal social advocacy often parades as objective scholarship.  Moreover, we have witnessed a growing threat to academic freedom primarily from those inside the academy.

We simply desire an honest social science--one that is committed to finding the truth.  We also believe the time is ripe for a counterweight to the liberal ideology that pervades the academy.  We support academic freedom and and believe that a broader understanding of conservative views about culture and politics can help build a better university and a better society.
